Yuki Hasegawa (Piano & Conductor)
Yuki HASEGAWA is a new conductor from Paris, who based on the experience as piano-accompanist and chamber musician.
In 2013 she received 1st prize in the 16th Conducting Course and Competition in Budapest, with unanimity of the member of Donau (Duna) Symphony Orchestra. She will make her debut as conductor in December 2013 in Saitama Japan, with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5, etc.
She has begun her conducting studies in 2011 at the age of 36, and since 2012 she then has studied at the Milano Civica Scuola di Musica, and also with L’Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi.
After winning several international competitions as pianist, she received her residence/working permit “Competences and talents – musician” from French gouvernment since 2009. She plays with international instrumentalists and singers, from young talents to experienced orchestral musicians, opera soloists, etc.
Artistic director of the concert organisation Ensemble Cordiale in Tokyo, she has produced the works by composers Paul Juon, A.Castillon, Mario Pilati, Stenhammar, etc. with the well-known repertoire since 1999. She is also a Jury member in music competitions in Japan. Affiliated artist of Pro Arte Musicae Co., Ltd. in Japan.
She graduated Kunitachi College of Music in 1997 in Tokyo with Bachelor of piano, Yuki HASEGAWA came to Europe in 1999. Studied piano under the virtuoso pianist Thierry Huillet in Toulouse and well known german Professor Arnulf von Arnim in Duisburg. Besides winning international piano competitions and chamber music competitions in France, Italy and Austria, she received diplomas in music theory (harmony, counterpoint, choral, fugue and style study), orchestration in Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris-CNR. She also attended perfection class of chamber music with Prof.Paul Meyer and Eric Le Sage after 1st Prize diploma of Conservatoire Chopin (City of Paris), and Gold Medal with Unanimity diploma of accompanying piano in Conservatoire National de Région de Saint Maur des Fossés. She was accepted to the CNSMD-Lyon. She has been often nominated as the official piano-accompanist of music competitions and masterclasses from wind and string instruments’ professors.
She began her study of orchestral conducting in May 2011 with Prof. Adrian McDonnell, and Prof.Vincent Renaud, and she was admitted to the perfection class of Accademia Italiana per la Direzione d’Orchestra in Faenza already in November of the same year. She studied with Prof.Gilberto Serembe there every month with orchestra. Then currently she is in the class of Prof.Renato Rivolta in Milano Civica Scuola di Musica, cooperated with L’Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi.
She has participated in numerous of master classes in Europe as pianist and as conductor, some of them were with scholarship. She is especially influenced by Profs.Alexander Jenner, Krzysztof Jabłonski, Dina Yoffe, Mikhail Voskresensky, Isaac Karabtchevsky and Michael Dittrich etc.
