From 1991 to 1992, he served as associate principal flutist of the Montpellier Symphony Orchestra. He has won prizes at major international competitions such as the Maurice André Competition and Toulon, and in 1996 won the 1st prize at the Geneva International Music Competition, attracting a lot of attention. This was the greatest achievement by a Frenchman since Maurice André. Since then, he has performed and given recitals not only in France but also with famous orchestras around the world, such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Hanover Chamber Orchestra, continuing his success as a top soloist.
