Hans Gansch

From lustrous and powerful tones to detailed and delicate expressions... A super trumpeter who supported the golden age of the Vienna Philharmonic.

From 1974 to 1976, he was principal player of the Linz Bruckner Orchestra, and from 1976 he became principal player of the Austrian Radio Symphony Orchestra. After that, in 1982, he joined the Vienna State Theater Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic as a solo trumpet player for 15 years, producing many great performances. While he was with the band, he gained a reputation as ``the Vienna Philharmonic's finest'' due to his remarkable technique and outstanding power, and even after leaving the band, he continued to pursue solo activities in a wide range of fields, and is still extremely popular all over the world. Since 1997, he has been teaching younger students at the Salzburg Mozarteum Conservatory. In addition to collaborating with many orchestras as a soloist, he is also active both domestically and internationally in chamber music such as ``Pro Plus'' and ``Art of Brass Vienna.''
